Hi All,
I am working on a projct that utilizes COM+
architecture. When I try to expand the Computer folder
from "Component Services" I get the following error:
An error occured while processing the last operation.
Error code 8004E00F - COM+ was unable to talk to the
Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator.
The event log may contain additional troubleshooting
information
I tried to start the Distributed Transaction Coordinator
service, but I got this error:
Windows could not start the Distributed Transaction
Coordinator on Local Computer. For more information,
review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft
service, contact the service vendor, and refer to
service-specific error code - 1073737712
I am looking for a solution other than formating the
machine and installing Windows again. Any ideas?
