MSCORSVW.exe using up cpu

Pam

I've googled this and realize its part of net2 but this is riduclous - it
hogs my sytem with over 50%of the cpu with the other 50 give or take being
system idel - everything crawls to a snails pace when it does this - I use
fp2003 and localhost (and not sure if it has anything to do with it but
finally got localhost running and don't want anything to screw it up again)
is there anyway to make it stop eating my cpu??

Please submit a sample of "MSCORSVW.exe" to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition, unless told
otherwise, Virus Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.

You can also submit a suspect, one at a time, via the following email URL...
mailto:[email protected]?subject=SCAN

When you get the report, please post back the exact results.

Hi Pam,
MSCorsvw.exe is a part of Net 2 and Visual Studio 2005 and it is a new
feature in NET Framework 2 and also known as ngens, try to disable it from
here and see if the CPU performance will enhance.
Go Control Panel >> Administrators Tools>> Services >> Net Framework and
chooe Net Run Time Optimization service, Right click and select stop. To
Disable it for good Right click, select Properties from the drop down List
and under StrtUp Type select Disabled.
For more info about the Proceesor read this :

Please let us know.
