mscoree.dll missing

I get the next message :
InstallShield\Profesional\RunTime\0700\Intel32
\DoNetInstaller.exe cannot acces a neccesary file
mscoree.dll . I have a lot of problems installing
programs and using them .I have a Compaq 5430us . Even if
I restore to factory settings this file is
missing .Please help me to find out what should be done !

Hi Marian,
Try the sfc (system file checker) ..

url=/windowsxp/home/using/productdoc/en/system_file_checke
r.asp .. If you use Windows XP .. simply put the Windows
XP CD in .. click 'start' .. 'run' .. type in :
sfc /scannow .. click 'ok' .. Good Luck!

P.S. The system file checker will restore all your
original .dll files
