MsConfig

Hello everyone!

I`m using Windows XP home edition.

Whan I run MsConfig, I have noticed that in the startup tab, there is 2
programs I don`t use and MSLAUGH which has been created when I got a worm 3
weeks ago. My system is now clean ( Norton Av ) but if I unchecked those
program and then restart, I get a message that windows has started in
selective mode and to press a button to return to the previous setting.

How can I get rid of those 3 programs?

Hi

There is a small box just to the left of 'OK' - enable that. Next time you reboot, you shouldn't see that screen. However, it will appear again if you alter anything else in msconfig>startup.
