I just installed WinXP this weekend. From what I can tell,
it doesn't have msconfig (I know Win2k doesn't have it), and
I see no reference to it in the help file. However, scanning
this news group for useful information I came across the
thread that starts here:

The discussion implies to me that XP does have it.
Can anyone explain?
Also, what's the best (i.e., effective and convenient) way
to control which apps start up with WinXP? I don't mind
paying for it if that's the way to go.
