msconfig startup programs?

I want to set up a hardware configuration or user which uses a different set
of startup programs as specified in the msconfig system config utility (XP
home) (not the start menu).
Can I do this and how???

I've sorted my problem now.
For anyone interested I used RegEdit an deleted all the keys from

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and created identical keys in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

So that the program will now only load for the 1 user and the other user do
not have the extra prgrams running.
