mscolour.exe

Hi does anyone know anything about this (mscolour.exe) as
my anti-virus software deleted as a virus and since its
done this when I boot up its asking for it can you help
pls.

it may be that there is an entry in the run key in the registry referencing
this file. open regedt32 and browse to hkey local
machine>software>microsoft>windows>current version>run and see if there is a
value in the right pane that is pointing to this file. if so, you should be
able to safely delete it. you may also want to check the same path in hkey
current user. there are other places that will start programs at boot, such
as the startup folder in programs files, but the run key is the most common.
