I am trying to install a CD player into my computer (winXP

that
mean & how can I install it?
Thanks
If Windows XP (Pro or Home Editions)is already installed on the
computer
just configure the Master/slave/cable select jumper on the drive,
attach
the data and power cables, activate the interface in CMOS and restart
the operating system. the operating system will automatically detect
the new drive. Windows XP has other code that serves the function
MSCDEX
served in DOS.
A LARGE percentage of Windows XP compatible computers have CMOS
settings
that allow the computer to boot from the Windows XP installation CDs
for
hard drive partitioning and operating system installation (no floppy
disk required). CD reader support is a normal part of the installation
process.
