msblast

hi i have xp pro and found the msblast in my registry. my
norton av prog. didn't detect it and neither did panda.i
heard i must install a patch from microsoft then run av
prog. i see there is a patch for xp 32 bit and xp 64 bit.
how do i find out which bit i have?

You have 32bit. Take my word for it! Not many people can afford Itanium
processors (64bit).
