msblast.exe file in windows prefetch

I followed the instruction from the symantec site, but
when I did a search for the msblast.exe file, it brought
up this : MSBLAST.EXE-1C3A3376.pf and it is in
C:/windows/prefetch Do I delete this file as well?
Nothing was mentioned about it on the symantec website.
and my Norton didn't pick it up as a virus.

Yes, delete the .pf file. XP will automatically rebuild it properly,

Navigate to the (drive letter -usually C:) Windows\Prefetch and delete all
files with a *.pf name.

These may not be visible on your system. So, while you're there, click on
tools (upper portion of the screen near the help button.) and then on folder
options. On the new screen click on View, set it to Show hidden files and
folders, make it UNhide extentions for known file types, and as a matter of
principle go ahead an show protected operating system files.

Next navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\_your account name_\Local
Settings\

Crack open the Temp folder. Delete all that.
Crack open the Temporary Internet Files. Delete all that.

Update your antivirus software. If you don't have any go here:

How do I get rid of messages downloaded as read on Outlook and from
Agent? I have not been able to get the most out of Agent newsreader
because it is taking forever to download headers. I'm going back to
google groups but I don't want anything from Agent taking up room on
my computer.
