MSAS a bit memory intensive

I would like to see MSAS use memory more efficiently. The
combined memory use for gcasServ.exe and gcasDTserv.exe is
constantly around 5 mb. At least it stays pretty constant,
and so there's no indication of any memory leak problems.
But 5 mb for this sort of program seems somewhat on the
high side. If it's possible, I'd like to see that figure
reduced by at least 50% or more.
 
My own is using 8 mbs right now. When I launch the application it can go
upwards of 300Mbs. So, there is some memory inefficiency going on for sure.
 
I just checked the memory use when running a scan. It
introduced another process module, GIANTAntiSpywar, which
used about 27MB, and it kicked up the gcasDTServ.exe to
around 5MB, but didn't increase the gcasServ.exe.
 
I think you will see great improvements in this area by beta 2.
