If this is about BIOS flashing then format a floppy and you can make it a Dos 7.1 boot floppy in the format floppy dialog. Not all mfg supply a dos boot, most just supply a dos program, though they are changing to windows programs bit by bit.
Go to http://bootdisk.com/ and d/load the file "DrDOS 7.x Disk for BIOS
Flashing Basic- No Drivers" to hard drive. Put a formatted floppy disk in
the drive, then double-click on the d/loaded file to create a basic DOS boot
disk. You can then copy the BIOS update files to that floppy.
