MS2000 PRO Start Up

What can be done to improve of the time it takes to boot
the system. Seems I've heard that msconfig.exe is not
included with 2000 but may be added? Will this help?
How do I go about getting that? Thanks

I like to run Spybot to make sure I do not have any
malicious spyware going on on my system. You can download
it from http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html. Also, in
the advanced mode of this software is a feature that is
like msconfig, to the fact you can see what is loaded when
you boot your computer. You have the option to disable or
to completely delete. They and I suggest that you disable
before deleting, to make sure you do not need that
particular item.
