MS Works files all open with Wordpad!!

I just tried to open a Works file and when I do it opens in Wordpad with all
these weird characters. I right clicked the file and changed the "opens with"
program which should not have been changed. Now all the other Works files
open in Works format but I didn't even need to change all 100+ Works files
like I did the first one. Any idea how the default program was switched?

YOU did it when you opened the one you had problems with.
