MS Works Database won't open

I have Windows XP with MS Worksuite 2002. I'm suddenly getting this message
when I try to open the database: "The application failed to initialize
properly (0xc0000018). Click on OK to terminate the application". What does
this mean and what is the solution?

yeh, or you can also go to microsoft.com and search for "problems with
msworks". or enter something to the affect. maybe enter the error code as
well and see what are the results and there possible resolutions....
