Mike

I have just been sent a number of articles made using MS Word that contain
pictures, If I just "Copy n Paste" in to Frontpage 2003 when I upload the
site the pictures are very slow, How do I remove the pictures from the
original article and change the format ?
TIA

Besides stripping out the Word formatting, you might need to downsize and
compress the graphics for the web in your image editor. Many people pop
large graphics into Word and downsize them for print. They may be print
ready, but not web ready.

For best results resize & optimize the images outside of FP, in an image editor (photoshop, paintshop pro, photo elements, IrFanview) then Import them into FP before you insert them into Design.

IrFanview is freeware...great for; resizing, optimizing, batch processing.
