MS Word no longer prompts me to save changes

All of a sudden, MS Word does not ask me if I want to save changes; hence
removes the security issue from closing a document too quickly. Help!! My
co-worker just indicated that the same thing has happened to her!

Try renaming your Normal.dot

The only thing I can think of that would cause that is a macro that has
intercepted the FileClose event.
