MS Word 2002 :"confirm block delete"

My MS Word 2002 requests a confirmation of any text block delete, and I
cannot switch this feature off. I've looked under Tools\Edit but don't find
anything like "confirm delete text". I could not find anything on the web
either. Please help.

From the Tools menu, select Options and go to the General tab and uncheck
both of the items that make a reference to WordPerfect.
