i'm working with Vista Home Edition SP2, PC ASUS Notebook N50v.
I just bought a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 (keyboard+mouse), sold without any software (plug & play).
When I plug transceiver into my USB ports, device is detected by Windows without finding any driver (into my computer or using Windows Update) !!
Into Device Manager, I can find "Microsoft 2.4GHz Transceiver v8.0" but driver is not correctly installed (Code 1)...
I tried Intelli Microsoft softwares, without any success.
When I plug this transceiver into another computer, it's working without doing anything...
My USB ports work well, but I had experienced these kind of issues in the past with other USB devices, without finding real solution.
