Todays Tip Of The Day is

Hold Shift when you right click a folder/file to get more contextual
menu options ie; "Open Command Window Here" and "Copy as Path"

Well, I was going to do one a day, but these tips are ones that I
REALLY think everyone needs to know:

[Windows]+T: Cycles through programs using the Live Taskbar feature.

[Windows]+[Spacebar]: Brings the Windows Sidebar to the foreground.

While clicking the icon and dragging the slider is simple enough there
is an easier way. Simply hold down the [Ctrl] key and scroll your
mouse wheel up and down to resize the icons from Tiles to Extra Large
Icons.

If you miss the old Menu Bar in Explorer, just hit the [Alt] ket to
temporarily bring it up.If you want to keep it up, just go to the
arrow on the "Organize" button, then select "Layout" then "Menu Bar"
and it will stay visible.

I got these tips from various webpages.

a KILLER little app I LOVE can be downloaded from www.rocketdock.com.
It's basically the same as the dock in OSX. One thing Apple almost got
right, and it took someone else to make it better.

Two other freebie progs I always use and run great on Vista are ALZIP
and ALFTP available at http://www.altools.net

I get my icons mostly from www.deviantart.com

Hope these were of some help. :0)

I found that a few days ago. I can't figure out how to get simple
program icons on it.

Dragging and dropping shortcuts on it doesn't work.

It seems as if it might be more trouble than it's worth.

That's too bad because I'm used to docks/toolbars on both the top and
bottom of my screen in Linux (KDE and GNOME).

I have never had the first problem with it. Just drag a shortcut to
it, right click the icon, go to icon settings and replace the default
with one you've downloaded.

Thanks. I'll give it another shot. I really like the Vista theme that
comes with it.
