MS Updates and XPe

Does Windows XP Embedded automatically download MS updates? If so, does it
automatically write them to disk? If not, how do I automate the process so I
don't have to touch every device?

Hi evclarke

No, XP-Embedded can not download Updates
from Microsoft server. Microsoft does not know which
components are in the build. If you want to have a
XP-E with WUS capability, have a look on WePOS.
