MS SQL Server 2000

I was wondering, is anyone using Access 2007 successfully with a MS SQL 2000
Server by any chance?

I don't see why this setup would not work with linked odbc tables. You
likely not have luck with a ADP project, but using linked tables via odbc
(which most of us use) should work just fine....

Yep, though only to run an MDE in the 2000 file format. No problems (at
least not as related to SQL Server). Whether the accde file format
introduces any issues to the equation I couldn't say.

Hi Robert,

Access 2003 format works, using 2007 application to operate it. The client
has a mixed 03/07 environment so all of the front ends are in 03 (mdb) or
(mde).
Using ODBC I'm certain it would work - I think I've done it a couple times
in development testing, but not certain, since I have to step back to mdb or
mde to deliver the product.

Cordially,
Gordon

Gordon, took your suggestion and it worked like a charm! :) Thanks!
