MS Outlook Tasks should delete completed tasks easier

We have MS Office 2000. Perhaps a newer version has solved this, but in the
MS Outlook Tasks function, if I want to delete completed tasks (those that I
have already checked in the check box as completed) I have to select them by
clicking on them first (possibly using the Ctrl or Shift keys as normal in
Windows). There should be a method to select all completed tasks at once for
deletion, or a general option to have the task disappear once it is checked
as completed.

Here are a few things you can do to make managing completed tasks a bit
easier:
1. Change the Tasks view to only display active tasks (View->Current
View->Active Tasks), which will hide completed tasks from the view.
2. Change the Tasks view to only display Completed tasks (View->Current
View->Completed Tasks), then CTRL-A to select all, making it easier to
delete.
3. Sort the view by Completed (Click on the Checkbox column in the view's
header area), thereby grouping the completed tasks together, which should
make it a bit eaiser to select them and delete them.
