Deleting Outlook Completed Tasks

I have thousands of completed tasks in Outlook that are hidden from view.
How can I delete them so they are removed? I want to save the disk space
they take up?

Change your view to a non-filtered view so that they show up.

However, unless you've added attachments to your tasks, I doubt that it will
actually return some disk space. The size of Tasks containing mere text is
negligible.
