MS Outlook Express Cannot maximize window

How do I set Outlook Express 6.o to open e-mails in
maximized screen. Currently when I double click e-mails
they open in normal screen and I have to maximize them
each time.
Also when I set up Outlook in scheduled tasks it opens in
normal window. Outlook opens maximized from the desktop
and from the programs menu, but not from the scheduled
tasks.
I am running Windows XP as an upgrade from Windows 98 on
HP pavilion CPU.
Can some one give me any help with this?

Double click one of your emails to open it, using your mouse stretch the
window to full size then close it by clicking on File and then Close. Works
for OE, IE and Internet Explorer.

By default an OE message window will not open maximized. You can resize the
smaller window to fill your screen and this size will be remembered but
don't maximize it.
