Error MSG: "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the
problem persists, restart Outlook"

Bacground Info:

I insalled MS Office 2007 beta (side by side with MS Office 2003, not an
upgrade), when I start outlook 2007, I get the above error msg. I repaired
Outlook, restarted Outlook, and created a new profile with no luck.

Any one have a clue to this msg?

I've had the same problem. You have a number of issues before you start
selling this thing. All it takes is 24 hrs. and the Outlook program corrupts.
I've installed the Beta TWICE. Both times it has screwed up.

I had a similar problem, and also I started getting both the OLMAPI32.DLL
problem and a problem installing graphics and text converters. Here's what I
found out: When you install the Beta, do not upgrade - chose the other
option. There, I had to set graphics and text converters to install on first
use, but also discoverd that you cannot have both Outlook 2003 and Outlook
2007 running concurrently. Also, if you have already installed the TR, and
re-install the original BETA, you need to re-run the TR install as well.

When I did the above, and replaced Outlook instead of trying to run both
versions, everything was fine.
