I have reinstalled MS Office XP after a windows reinstallation and I cannot
installed the MS office Shortcut bar. The 'Shortcut Bar' folder is with the
program file but it does not appear in the Microsoft Office Tools sub-menu
under all programs.
Can anyone help?

I may be wrong, but as far as I am aware, the Office toolbar was removed
since Office 2000. Certainly on the Office 2003 that we use at work, it is
not present. MS decided that it was no longer required as you could use the
quick launch toolbar on the status bar of Windows to access applications.
I actually miss the Office bar, which I used a lot when we had Office 97. It
took a little while to get used to using the quick launch bar together with
a few other toolbars I appended to the status bar.

It's present in my 2002 (office for XP).

PS - just checked it on an office 2000 machine (server); it's under
Microsoft Office Tools.

Perhaps it wasn't installed but it should be there.

the toolbar is not installed by default anymore. if you rerun the
installer app you can find it in the "tools" section and check it so that
it gets installed.

Ah, I didn't know that. Good catch!
