I wish to send out an email containing an attachment or a link to multiple
addresses but for privacy reasons do not want a list of all the recipients to
appear in the "TO" box. Just the name of that particular recipient.
Can someone please tell me how to do this.

Many thanks

Thanks for such a speedy reply.....The email could go out to say 250
recipients. I wish each of their names to appear as if the mail was just sent
to them. IE create a mailing list within address book and use this. My
understanding of the BCC field is that you would use it to send a blind copy
of an email to a receipient other that the original addressee but would not
work with multiple addresses. Am I wrong?

I believe you want to look into using the mail merge feature to send the
same message individually to each recipient. This should achieve exactly
what you are trying...

or do what my coworkers do and add yourself to the TO field, and bcc it to
the distribution list. Not what you want, but gets the job done.

Yes, you are wrong.
