I purchased MS Office home/student ed. 11/2007 my laptop that I had it
installed on completely crashed an is no longer usable. I need to know if I
can reinstall or if I have to purchased a new edition?

Of course you can install it on another computer, or on the same computer if
you repair it. When you are asked to activate the product, automatic
activation will probably fail, but you can use the phone activation option
(follow the prompts until you actually talk to a person) to explain your
circumstances and complete activation manually.
