MS Office 2000

Yesterday, suddenly, Word 2000 stopped working.Tried going to MS Help and
download updates and then install Pack No. 3 for Office 2000. Install
unsuccessful. Tried again this morning with Norton Virus Protection switched
off - still unsuccessful. Still can't use Word!

Why did it suddenly stop working - please provide more detail and perhaps post to the
Word Newsgroup.

Try deleting the normal.dot file and see if that solves it. It will recreate
itself when you open Word again.

If that doesn;t solve the problem, you might want to post to a Word group,
and when you do, be a little more specific about "not working."
