Ms Network Monitor Utility - Where to obtain

I need to view TCP/IP communications between a client application on
one computer, and a sql server on another, peer, computer. Both
computers run Win 2000 Pro. MS KB suggests the use of the MS Network
Monitor Utility. However, ist not clear if Win2K comes with this
utility. If it doesn't is there a legitimate way of getting it without
cost?

Microsoft's Network Monitor is available in a scaled down form on Windows
Server CD's. The full version is located in Microsoft's Systems Management
Server ( SMS ).

There are other network sniffer's out there, and some may be freeware.
