Is there a way to determineif there are any applications using or relying on
the .NET framework on my PC? (XP W/SP2)
And a subsequent question which may be related to .NET, is how do I keep the
user login screen being displayed after the PC resumes from the screensaver
mode? The only other time it used to ask for a user to log in was when I
had a need and an application using the .NET framework. I don't think
that's the case now, but I'm not sure. Seeing as how I'm the only one on
this PC, I don't need to be asked who needs to log in after resuming from a
screen saver mode.
I've also been having some strange system crashes lately, and the PC fails
to "wake up" even though the power settings are set to never hibernate and
never go into standby mode. The monitor goes off after 1 hour and the hard
disks after 3 hours.
Thanks,
David...
