WSUS seems to be fine other than it not downloading the approved updates I
have left it downloading overnight and and it seems to be updating however
the WSUS directory is only has 3 MB worth of data. I have tried using 2
different proxy servers to no avail. Here is an error I get in the NT Event
Log:

I have read other posts with the same problem and with no resolutions.
Can someone please shed some light on this.

Hello Carlo.

First of all, you will have better luck getting your questions answered in the dedicated newsgroup
for WSUS,
@ microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

As for your problem, do you need to use the proxy for downloads, or did you just enter the proxy
values because there was a textbox available to enter a proxy machine address in?
The reason that I'm asking this is that we are using ISA Server 2000 which is a Proxy, among other
things, and I entered the correct settings for our proxy, and noticed that the downloads were
extremely slow. When I removed the proxy setting, the downloads went a hell of a lot faster.
