MS LineDraw Font

Greetings !

I have a "text" file that has some "line draw"
characters. WHen I load the file into WORD, the
characters come out in another font, as "foreign" letters.

When I use Format > Font, the footnote tells me that MS
Line Draw Font is not installed, and that "the nearest"
will be used - but when I try to install that font (by
dragging the file into C:\WINDOWS\FONTS) I am told that
the font is already installed !

Help !

Hi Robin,

See your other thread:
Choose "Always confirm conversions" in "Tools > Options > General", then
open the text files with the "Text > Other encoding > OEM USA" text import
filter.
