I get the following message when I launch the MS Golf 98 program: "msgolf 98
requires at least 32 mb of free virtual memory to run. Please try closing
any running applications or increasing your virtual memory settings".

Any ideas? I've done what it says and it made no difference.

MS Golf 98 won't run on a xp system becaus it needs a line in the config.sys
or the autoexec.bat to set the virtual memory it's a dos based command i
recomend you get a updated version of ms golf or try the tiger woods games.

Not necessary I increased the virtual memory to 32mb (I did it wrong
before). Is this safe?

What os are you using ?? because vram or page file should be ram + 32 or if
you had 64 mg of ram your page file size would be 96 mg.

Not true. MS Golf 98 will run by simply manually setting your Virtual
Memory to a 32 MB minimum in XP. However like you said it would be
better to just go out and get a newer version of Golf. But if the OP
wants to play Golf 98 it can be done.
