MS Dos and memory usage in W2K

The traffic engineers at our firm use several DOS-based
programs. They are keeping one machine with Win98 because
they have a special Ram-doubler set up in the Dos setup
for them. Is there any way to make something like that
work under Win2K without going to a dual-boot system?
For that matter, has anyone been able to make a Win2K dual
boot system work cleanly? We have newer and MUCH faster
machines that I would like to set this up on for them, but
I really don't want to have to set up dual boot systems if
I can avoid it.

All you can do with that old stuff is to keep trying different combos
and hope something works.
