MS C++ runtime error when opening IE 6.0

T

Tim

When opening IE 6.0
The home page opens up and then a message box appears.

Title is "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
Message is
"Runtime error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
Abnormal program termination"
Only button to click is "OK"
Then everything closes.

I have tried to re-install Ie 6.0 sp1. Doesn't help
