have been superceeded by the New Testament.

Especially the laws concerning food and drink. Christians are now free to
eat lobster or camel, if they choose to, as long as it does not offend
others.

Christianity is more about how we act toward others, rather than what we eat
or the day we go to church.

As far as so-called "homophobic" Christians are concerned, those outside the
Church find fault with us because of our stances against idolatry and
immorality, which is for OUR behavior. Reasonable Christians know we have
no right to legislate the morals of other human beings. We(Christians),
however, must abstain from all illicit sexual behavior. God in the Old
Testament clearly puts a quietus on idolatry, homosexuality, bestiality, and
lesbianism. The leaders of our Church, beginning with Paul the Apostle,
have all confirmed this in the New Testament. If a man wants to be a
Christian, he must refrain from idolatry and sexual immorality. Not only
that, but Christians are commanded NOT to pass judgment on those outside the
Church.

Christians who are constantly passing judgment on homosexuals and lesbians
OUTSIDE the Church are, at the best, lacking in understanding of the common
Faith, and at the worst, totally misled by their leaders. Christians ARE,
however, required to keep our Church pure. To accomplish this, we are
required to pass judgment on those within the Church who are taking part in
idolatry and sexual immorality. We are SPECIFICALLY forbidden to pass
judgment on those who are outside the Church.

If you, or anyone else, commits acts which we (the Church) would call
immorality, and you are not part of our Church, that is between you and God.
We are not your Judges.

As far as being "homophobic", I doubt seriously whether any Christian is
frightened of Homosexuals (unless one is standing in front of us with a

Yours is a well reasoned reply. Unfortunately many so-called Christians
either deliberately misinterpret or are ignorant of what the bible actually
says. By your reasoning is Microsoft within the church? If they are, are
they doing the Christian thing by causing pain and suffering to homosexuals
that are not within the church? Threats of boycotts seem to be a valid
political and ethical method for changing a corporations mind but is it
valid for religion? A very deep question the answer of which is up to each
individual. Personally I am offended by religious boycotts but I have
practiced boycotts for ethical reasons. I try not to buy products from
corporations that support countries that practice torture. At the same time
I have been hurt economically by a boycott that other's regard as ethical. I
live in British Columbia and Greenpeace has urged people to boycott forest
products from here. I don't agree with them but respect their beliefs and
work to change what I believe is a mistaken belief. Perhaps that is the
Christian thing to do. Proselytize, but don't cause more suffering by
boycotting.

I try to avoid off topic discussions but this one is just too interesting.

Kurt, I must remind you that the majority of the Laws laid down by Moses
have been superceeded by the New Testament.

That's "superseded" and by whom? You? How did *you* decide which laws to
discard?

Especially the laws concerning food and drink. Christians are now free to
eat lobster or camel, if they choose to, as long as it does not offend
others.

I'm offended by camel-eating, so that means it has to stop?

Christianity is more about how we act toward others, rather than what we eat
or the day we go to church.

As far as so-called "homophobic" Christians are concerned, those outside the
Church find fault with us because of our stances against idolatry and
immorality, which is for OUR behavior. Reasonable Christians know we have
no right to legislate the morals of other human beings. We(Christians),
however, must abstain from all illicit sexual behavior. God in the Old
Testament clearly puts a quietus on idolatry, homosexuality, bestiality, and
lesbianism.

And the same Old Testament sanctions slavery, so long as the slaves are
from a neighboring country. But have you superseded that one? By the
way, what's the difference between "homosexuality" and "lesbianism"?

The leaders of our Church, beginning with Paul the Apostle,

have all confirmed this in the New Testament. If a man wants to be a
Christian, he must refrain from idolatry and sexual immorality. Not only
that, but Christians are commanded NOT to pass judgment on those outside the
Church.

Hmmm...I think the Catholics would say that Peter started it all.

Christians who are constantly passing judgment on homosexuals and lesbians
OUTSIDE the Church are, at the best, lacking in understanding of the common
Faith, and at the worst, totally misled by their leaders. Christians ARE,
however, required to keep our Church pure. To accomplish this, we are
required to pass judgment on those within the Church who are taking part in

it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you; 5
the rock hyrax, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven

Once MS has implemented this list of God's EULA terms, we'll have a new
