MS Beta Spyware

Is anyone aware of any problems with MS Beta Spyware
interreacting with current known programs.

I sit better than Spybot etc?

Hi Ian,
Since this is a Beta program, your Mileage May Vary. With over 5.5 million
downloads in just over a month, I would say that the number of messages here
indicate a generally good experience.

As for being 'better' than another product, I think all of the various
AntiSpyware products each have their strengths. This Beta1, for example,
doesn't go after cookies or dataminers. These are called 'critical' by
another program. At this time, I use the Beta as my first shot at a
machine, but have the other standards ready as a backup. As always, I
suggest that folks use the best product that will do the job, and that they
are the most comfortable with.

MS AS 1.0 Beta has compatibility issues with TightVNC remote control. It
causes the MS AS 1.0 beta tray icon to duplicate.

Otherwise I haven't had any issues with running MS AS 1.0 beta alongside
Spybot S&D, Spyware guard, SpySweeper corp 2.x and SpySweeper 3.5 retail.

I haven't had any issues with UltraVNC client. I don't run the server or
repeater on my laptop, so I can't speak for those programs. I do, however,
see the icon duplicate in the system tray from time to time.
