Help, I have just received an email purported to be from Microsoft and
signed off:

"Many thanks,
Chris, Gill & Charlene
The UK "At Work" team" and with an invitation to click on:

http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=******* to confirm I wish to continue
receiving At Work.

I have left the 7 letter id number out for safety.

Is this a bonafide email or a phishing job or something else please? I do
not recognise the At Work although I regularly get the MS newsletter each
month.
Thanks,
Brett

Brett,

A Yahoo search indicates that go.microsoft.com does indeed take you to MS
sites and that the format:

go.microsoft.com/?linkid=2027956 is indeed valid.

Assuming you "right click" "copy shortcut"ed, the link would seem vaild.
If you "highlighted" and "copy"ed the visible text we can not tell.

Post the whole link with a warning.

?:-)
