MS AntiSpyWare sets IE homepage to MSN?

I just installed MS AntiSpyWare and found my IE homepage
changed to MSN! How sneaky is that? These days it's hard
to tell the spyware from the antispyware.

So what was your homepage before?

Many spywares change your homepage to a search-type page
or a page that can execute an exploit. Resetting IE and IE
Search functions are one of the fixes.

Did you hit the button to restore you IE defaults? There
is an option under Advanced tools called Broswer Hijack
restore that will set IE settings back to defaults and
your home page back to msn

I've seen various Windows updates do that many a time, if you've AU
enabled it may have done it, not the program.

It showed my desired homepage, which is a picture on my E:
drive, and it has the reset button which will restore the
MSN default. A careful reading will show that the hijack
detection and restore is not automatic, you have to click
the >> to change an item.
Running XP Pro SP2.
