Hi Again,

This is probably something really simple that I am missing but I've created a simple form in my access database to add/update records. The only way I seem able to set it up however is that it pre-populates with the first record on the table when I open it and I have to create a button to add a new entry.

It it possible to make it open ready for a new entry?(i.e. Blank)

It's been a while since I set this up, but I believe you want to open the form in Design View. Then Press Alt+Enter to get into properties. Click on the square in the upper left to select the Form itself (Above the left ruler and the left of the top ruler). Then go to the Data Tab of the properties and change Data Entry to Yes, or True (I forget which). This should allow the form to open up on a new record by default for data entry. If that doesn't work, I'll need a bit more time to actually step through the process again.
