I am working on an application within MS Access 2003, and i am having some trouble with parsing (sic) a memo field. For any given unique ID i have 3-15 records which look like this:
"Assists in the management of Category Marketing and Cooperative Advertising budgets by tracking spending to budget; managing purchase orders and invoices; reconciling irregularities within the budget; monitoring budgets; helping Finance to manage reporting of income as earned and expenses when incurred; serving as a liaison with the Finance group; and ensuring spending is within the approved budget."
I would like to be able to break each memo field at the ";" into a seperate text field which is sequenced. see example below:
UniqueID | SeqNbr | Text
1 | 1 | Assists in the management of Category Marketing and Cooperative Advertising budgets by tracking spending to budget
1 | 2 | managing purchase orders and invoices
1 | 3 | monitoring budgets
etc....
