MS 2007 Tables

I have two tables in one document. They are each only one column and
multiple rows (making a sort of vertical timeline). The separate tables are
side by side. The table on the left continues to the second page as I add
content like wanted but when I add content to the table on the right and it
is ready to move to the second page as planned, it kicks the whole table on
the left to the second page. I want them to run side by side and continue on
to each page. Any suggestions on how to get my tables to stay side by side?

Tables are for *data storage*. Despite Microsoft's blandishments, they are not
designed or appropriate for data editing, entry, printing or display.

You can use Forms to enter and edit data, and Reports to print data. One-field
tables are legal but rather peculiar! What real-life Entity does each table
represent? Obviously you have no relationships (can't, with just one field);
is there any *logical* connection between the records in one table and records
in the other?

Is this perhaps a question about Microsoft Word? If so, you should seek out
one of the Word forums for it; this forum is for discussion of Microsoft
Access, the database program.
