Guys, I know that in Windows XP you can see thumbnails of
video files like MPEG's AVI's and WMV's... but on my
computer, I can't see thumbnails of my MPEG's anymore! I
think this has something to do with my installing of
Winamp 2.91.. but I restored the default application for
MPEG's back to Windows Media Player!

What do I do?

what u need to do is to reinstall windows media player.
becoz all these settings get registered in the registry
and that is why ...

Plz revert bac in case of any more probz ..

Make the following, after - - start and before - - end into a file by
cut/paste to NotePad. Don't let lines wrap around ([HKEY through
D6C1}] is one line, @="{ begins the next) , and make sure there is a
blank line at the end. Save as "Patch.reg" then right-click on this file
and take Merge to enter it into the registry.

- - start
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mpg\ShellEx]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mpg\ShellEx\{BB2E617C-0920-11d1-9A0B-00C04FC2D6C1}]
@="{c5a40261-cd64-4ccf-84cb-c394da41d590}"

- - end
