Hi, I have a sony fd83 camera and would like to play the
movies on my computer etc. In the manual they say
install Active Movie Player (Direct Show). I never set it
up in my 98 computer and I have a new XP , what program
do I download to do this? Thanks

You already have Windows Media Player and it
will play the short clips that are created in your
camera. Just copy them to your hard drive and
left click one of them. I have a Sony FD90 and
I play them all the time.

You also have Windows Movie Maker as part
of WinXP and it will play them also. Actually,
you can use it to edit the length and combine
them into a longer movie.

Also, you can download Movie Maker 2 if you
would like:
