Movie rotate query

Hi everybody,
I have taken and avi movie on my camera and used the camera sideways on.
now my movie clip is sideways instead of upright how can I rotate it 90
degrees will window movie player do because I can't find an option to rotate
clips or can anyone suggest a program which can do this I can rotate in
acdesee but can't save as avi file any help would be appreciated

Open the .avi in Windows Movie
Maker...drag it to the timeline...and
go to...Video Effects / Rotate.

Drag the correct effect (Rotate 90)
and drop it on the timeline.

To save as .avi...try the following steps:

File / Save Movie File / My Computer / Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location / Next /
Show More Choices / Other Settings / open
the drop window and choose...DV-AVI / Next /
wait while the movie is saved / Finish.
