mpeg movies doesn't finish playing

hello,

I've problems running mpeg movies in powerpoint. the problem is that the
movie stops to early in presentation mode, even when i set the time to go to
the next slight bogger than the duration of the movie. in preview mode it
plays correctly.

i'm working with:
a laptop
windows xp home
office xp professional
mediaplayer 9

on my home pc i've got no problems, only on the laptop.

please who can help me quick.

What happens when it stops? Does it move to the next slide (and cuts off
the mpeg), or does it just sit there or what?

What version of PPT? What operating system? How'd you create the MPEG?
What codec was used to create it, do you know?
