mp3 usb port is not detected

I bougt a creative mp3 player with a built in usb port. When I plug it in the
usb port it does not detect it, it only detects it when I restart my computer
what can I do with out haveing to restart it ?

Make sure that you have the lates firmware off Creatives site.
