MP3 Player - Letting Off Steam

I don't expect an answer to this. It is just a complaint.

1. Why do companies think that smaller is better? How about a nice, solid
MP3 player that takes a couple of AA batteries?

2. No software should be needed at all. The MP3 player should look like a
flash memory module to the computer.

All mp3 players are flimsy matchbox size and instruct you to install
software without telling you if it is needed or not.

I don't know what MP3 players you are "fooling" around with, but most do
exactly what you want. Mine uses one AAA battery and is plug&play. No
installation disk, just connect it to the USB port and load it up and I'm
ready
to go my merry way. Next time look with a Google search for the pros and
cons of the item before buying it!
